The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!

In the famous book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" by Douglas Adams, a super computer called "Deep thought" was built to answer the ultimate question; the question of life, universe and everything. Once the computer was put to work and asked if it can answer this question ........ "Difficult !"was the reply ........ and so it asked for some (10) million years to find it ....

After 10 million years, all the people on that planet gathered and in a very solemn scene, they asked the computer for the answer ...

The computer replied in a deep slow voice:
"The answer to the ultimate question" ....

pause .....

"life" .........

pause ......

"universe" .....

pause .....

"and everything" .....

pause...

"the answer" .....

pause .....

"is" .........

pause ......

"42"

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course you can imagine how dumbfounded those aliens were (and me too :( ) despite the brilliantly hilarious answer!!! But you know what .... I badly need this answer ....... more than anything you can imagine. I'm about to finish my doctorate and am supposed to look what to do next ..... however, I have a multitude of ways to go and needs to fulfil ..... should I go back home and enjoy being among friends and family but suffer the absolute mess and lack of perspective? Should I stay abroad, build a career but suffer being foreign? In the career, should I go for the money, or should I seek to research things that one day may be useful for humanity? Should I go back home to get married, or should I look for a muslim girl anywhere else in the world? Should I plan my life and adhere to the plan, or should I "live and enjoy" my life just as it is?

If only the computer could give a meaningful answer, perhaps then I would have known which way to go. Perhaps then I could put my priorities.

Could any one of you help?
